Cellcom seeks access to Bezeq installations

A few days after Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) agreed on what the new wholesale market will look like and submitted a service portfolio to the Ministry of Communications, Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) has made an initiative of its own, and is submitting a service portfolio for using Bezeq infrastructures through its communications conduits. Cellcom also submitted another portfolio for dark fiber (fiber which Bezeq installs in communications conduits, part of capacity of which can be allotted to competitors).

Bezeq to market triple play with YES

Sources inform ”Globes” that Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) and its satellite broadcasting subsidiary DBS Satellite Services (1998) Ltd.(YES) will begin to jointly market triple play services in a few days. The companies will offer telephony, Internet access, and television services. There will be no general discount for all the services; each service can be purchased separately at the same price, with the customer paying a single bill through YES.

Partner cancels dividend

Orange franchisee Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) today announced that it has cancelled its dividend policy for 2012. The move comes after Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. (HKSE: 0018) cancelled its planned acquisition of 75% of Partner’s parent company Scailex Corporation (TASE: SCIX; Pink Sheets:SCIXF) from Ilan Ben-Dov. In addition, Standard & Poor’s Maalot Ltd. placed Partner’s bonds on its watch list with an AA minus rating and “Negative” outlook.
