Mobile Internet company Saguna Networks Ltd. has raised $3 million in a financing round led by an international communications equipment supplier. Saguna is a portfolio company of Xenia Venture Capital Ltd. (TASE:XENA), which is investing $300,000 in the latest financing round, which will give the company a 14.76% stake in the start up.
Mobile ad company inneractive Ltd.is collaborating with mobile phone maker Nokia Corporation (NYSE; LSE; HEX: NOK) on it newly launched Nokia Ad Exchange (NAX). NAX provides developers, regardless of platform, with immediate access to more than 120 ad networks and agencies in 200 countries.

Sources inform ”Globes” that Orange franchisee Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) is about to fire 100 employees, mostly from headquarters and call centers. The current round of layoffs is part of the carrier’s effort to slash costs to cope with the increased competition in the mobile market.

VoIP equipment provider AudioCodes has been selected by Bezeq to supply Mediant Multi-Service Business Routers (MSBR) to provide high performance data services to Bezeq’s business customers.
